LSE - Mobile Android
Description

We are looking for a Lead Mobile Application Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. This Lead developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. This engineer will be responsible for the delivery of the Mobile Applications Roadmap for the entire Company.

Responsibilities:
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android/iOS platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Lead a team of Android & iOS developers, set processes and own the mobile app delivery roadmap
• Reports to Senior Engineering Manager
• Work with outside data sources, SDKs and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 5-8 years of experience in Building Android Apps (preferably from the scratch) or iOS Apps (or both)
• You are proficient with the languages, tools, and frameworks core to iOS or Android development (or both), including XCode, Android Studio, Swift, Java, React Native, etc
• Thorough debugging skills
• Mentored juniors in the past and have done code reviews
• Long term vision about App versioning
• Have worked with Webviews, session Management, security fundamentals, App versioning, Hybrid apps, Metrics, integrating analytics SDKs
• Proven software development experience and Android/iOS skills development
• Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app/iOS app
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries, SDKs and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architecture, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Experience of leading/managing a mobile app team in the past
